Default Any 991 owners tempted to upgrade to the new Sport Classic?

I think this is the first new 911 that has tempted me (other than a GT3T) since I ordered my GTS new in 2015. I just wish they had put the regular 3.8 turbo motor in it instead of a detuned version.

I have added Houndstooth fabric to my 18 way seats. I purchased 911R fabric (sourced from Classic FX in England). I had the fabric custom fitted at a local upholstery shop, and I'm super happy with the results. I like the contrasting feel between fabric and leather and the contrasting colour really makes it standout.

IMO the best looking 992 out there, but still not planning on selling mine anytime soon.

This is the only 992 I’ve ever been excited about but unlikely that I’ll get one. I’m very happy with my 991.2 C2S and happier that I paid roughly 1/3 the price that it will cost for the 992 SC. BUT, it is definitely my favorite of all modern day 911s.

This is the first turbo engine 911 that I've ever thought that I might actually consider buying new, but it doesn't matter because my dealer is only getting 2 of them and they're both sold to wealthy clients that will park them in a storage facility.

When the 911R was sold new they were bring $1M, the sport classic will be in that price range when released.

Not at all. Although the SC is nice on paper, the 992 is huge and that interior will always be a dealbreaker for me IMHO. I have no desire to own a 992. I think Porsche (VW) blew it.

good luck. as I recall the last sport coupe, which was sold only in Europe, was 2X the price of a similar car (>$200K). Last one was a beautiful car though.

Beautiful car but for the price they're gonna be going for you could get a lot of other cars

I agree with most posts, the 992 didn't do it for me until now, but I have established a very close relationship with my 991.1, I don't need more than what I have.

You get to pay 150k more for a de-tuned 992 Turbo and lose AWD. Hard pass. I rather have a GT3, Turbo or Turbo S for that budget.

Don’t matter what my interest is. Just another model that is unobtainable…

This is also so true. I'm approaching 5 years of owning my 991.1 and after how much time, energy and money I've spent sorting out the problems with this car, I really should keep it forever, lol.
