Hi polobai, ordered 28mm to fit the flat portion of the stratos **** (as you can see in pics). Yes, a gel sticker which is actually pretty durable. Good thing is that a sheet of 6 only costs $15.99, so when the current one wears out after a few years, you can just swap a new one in!

Welp... Took the plunge and ordered the F1 Aluminum Classic Shift ****. Wouldn't you know it I ordered my wife a gift and instead found some strange package at my door with auto parts again, and wouldn't you know it, there was a F1 Aluminum Classic Shift **** inside. I've only had it on for a day and I have to say I DO love it. Looks great and kicks up the feel of the numeric short shifter another notch. I did about 30 miles of city & highway driving today so I did get a chance to row through all the gears. No real experience yet getting into the car after sitting out in the direct FL sunlight and heat, but I did see a video where a guy A/B tested the delrin & aluminum models under hot climate conditions and found there to be only about a 5 degree temperature difference. And yeah, I made a video for everyone's enjoyment.

I like the Alcantara, but the plastic cap on top feels a bit cheapy.
In fact the whole **** could have been Alcantara. I mean why do I need a shift pattern on the **** after the first hour of ownership. Its shown in the owners manual and its not like I am looking at it while shifting.
