Default 991.1 c4s Track Pads

About to get my 1st 911.. a 13 c4s 7Mt.. (w/sport chrono) will do maybe 5-7 HPDE's .. looking for track pads and will probably use RBF660 or Castrol SRF.

Wanted Pagid RSL29? for stock non CCB's. Some Daily driving.

Sorry I did search on here but so many threads .. venndors or a better option? G-loc or maybe Ferodo options..

Ferodo has less embarrassing brake squeal if you are street driving.

Endless MX72 or ME20. If you are willing to spend a little extra you can buy 997 Turbo 350mm rotors instead of 340mm stock size which bolt on, and then you can use the larger GT3 front pad.

Thanks all, great advice. Thank you

The 997 turbo rotors fit the non CCB calipers/wheel offsets?

Any vendors that sell the endless pads you all recommend ? or a link?

PFC08's , good experience with them? The tracks here are pretty good at killing brakes (overheating and fading)

I used Ferodo DS2500's plenty in the past and have good results.. I feel carbotech has fallen off in the year and not sure about Hawk

Pagid vendor? I found some but cant find the specific pad for the 991.1 c4s non CCB

350mm front rotors + GT3 pads are plug-n-play. Have them on my 991.1S (along with the rears)

Rotor part numbers 99735140501 and 99735140601. Should be able to source them for about $300/pr for Sebro brand. I would def do this if you are going to spend the money for high end pads.

You can do the 350mm 997 Turbo rear rotors too, but need to space caliper 10mm and 10mm longer caliper bolts. Either way you would still retain the stock size brake pad.

I had really good luck with Matt from Speed Freaks USA for Endless pads, if you call he might be able to take a little bit off the price. You can mention Adam with black 911.

The Ferodo's are quite popular at the moment and tend to make less noise than other dedicated race pads. The DS3.12 compound is excellent and currently in stock. FCP4955G and FCP4713G.
The Pagid pad shape for your stock 991.1 C4S brakes would be the 4922 and 4909, both of which have several compounds available.

Switch to Pagid pads and kept stock rotors for my last HPDE and was very happy with the braking performance of my 991.2 C2S. They do squeal a lot for street driving.

I've been using Ferodo DS2500 pads and have been quite happy with them. They've held up well for track use and don't squeal too much for street driving (and when they do, re-bedding them resolves that issue for a while). I swapped to AP Racing rotors from Essex this past season when the OEM rotors were fully done and have been very happy with those too.

There are certainly better options for a dedicated track pad, but the 2500s have worked really well for my hybrid use needs/wants.

My experience is that the Ferodo DS3.12 is MUCH better than the Pagid yellows. You can pick up from the forum sponsor above or Clark at Apex performance has great service too.

I bought my Endless pads from Matt at Speed Freaks and recommend them too. I have the ME20's and they do squeal if you use on the street. Low heat/speed driving and you will lose pad transfer layer on the rotors, not to mention prematurely wearing the rotor. I used to swap pads but I find myself driving on the street less and less so the occasional trip out does not bother me so much. Clark at Apex is very well liked on the forum if you go the Ferodo route. One of my buddies swapped out his PCCB's for J Hook rotors and DS3.12's and he loves them.

Good luck.
