I had a passenger as we were doing happy laps, roll racing down the straight. The car was running constant for an hour and was badly heat soaked. I need meth.

I suspect with all of the mods that @4 Point 0 and @blackcheetah are pushing that an upgraded plenum will benefit more as each bottle neck is removed.

Picking up 15 hp in the mid range is better than nothing.

It is also a testament to how a the OEM plenum (despite looking like it shouldn't work well) and even the brutal looking OEM headers can still allow the car to make decent power. People were complaining how aftermarket headers didn't make more power (over all) versus OEM but again made power in the midrange, as there were other bottle necks to making power.

To the OP seeing that other options do exist is great to hear!

im sure the plenum will make a difference at my power level here à chart in cfm oem vs Tial

I beleive it will make good power seeing this chart...
4 point 0 how much boost are you now? your DA+2guys in the car sure affect your 100-200 time... like you said get some meth and crank up the boost , those m800 beg for it

Still only at 27psi.

I am interested in the M-Engineering PDK custom tune before I go further.

Everything closed for Xmas.

Too hot to track now. End of Jan will start up again.

I understand your point before up the boost...
APR gts did lots of 9sec pass with stock clutch and à pdk tune , not sure but i think the GTS has maybe more holding power then à c base..

To update-got a chance to dyno on this setup this week and it looks like I gained 5-10whp with this mod overall! Peak run below (was at 466whp before) but runs were between 470-476whp.

Back on the rollers

Not bad for a little base turbo carerra t

When it comes to plenums on turbos, its not the power increase you should look for, its responsiveness of the engine, IMHO. Although power is a nice byproduct, on turbo car its the reduced lag due to better flow is what i would be happy about.
