Default 2013 991 won't crank after battery replacement.

Hey all - I wonder if you could help with what I hope is an easy question. I store my 911 C2S in my garage for the winter and this spring it wouldn't turn over. It clicked and I got a low volt warning. It was the original battery, so I bought/installed a new OEM battery from my local Porsche dealer. Now when I turn the key, all internal functions work and low volt alarms are gone but the car won't crank over. No click, no crank, no nothing. Is there anything I need to do reset or reprogram anything? Any other things for me to check? My dealer is closed tomorrow and I'd like to use it on Father's Day!

Thanks!
Tim

Cycle the alarm.

Unlock the car.

Start the car within 30 seconds.

What Lex said above your post mate, the immobilizer needs to be cycled. Trigger the alarm and unlock to stop, try to start.

thanks Guard Red, I've just tried this again ..... but no joy.

Such a pain... (interestingly the car did try to start for literally 1 second then went dead when the battery first went in, then nothing since)

Hmmmm I wonder if you popped some fuse by accident when installing the new battery?
