Stop Sale Lifted.
I just got a call from my dealer saying Porsche has released a software update for 991.1 sport chrono cars and the stop sale has been lifted for updated cars. He had no other information.

Curious to see a before/after dyno or similar analysis of this update.

Definitely would want to know what the software downgrade would do to the car.

Any recall would be posted on National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website, nothing there yet:

IMHO a government mandated emissions action will most likely be a recall. Even if it's not, if you look at the link above closely, there are 167 items, most are manufacturer communications including software updates.

It certainly never hurts the check for recalls, but when you do a VIN search on the NHTSA website, it explains what the search tool will and will not show. It says it will not show "Manufacturer customer service or other nonsafety recall campaign
