Please save yourself the time, money, and frustration, and instead install a quality water/meth kit. That will reduce your IAT’s much more than any additional airflow to the IC’s ever could.

There’s a reason the 2RS, even with the additional airflow to larger intercoolers, still needs an external water sprayer to keep the IAT’s cool… just get water/meth and call it a day.
+1 Alex ,get a water/meth kit problem solve

Bare with me. More air flow to Intercoolers, also means i can run even larger ones. I currently have AMS. I will either change to TiAL or have some custom PWR ones made.

My PWR side radiators are ready to be picked up. I already have the PWR centre radiator, since the GT3 front bar. The additional cooling will be great for track and allow extra cooling of the transmission.

I want to add the BBI Y-Pipe so I too can turn the M800’s up. The current Y-Pipe is not in a good position like the Turbo setup. So, buy having the i/C air coming in the side vents, I should be able to swap the Y-Pipe and air filter over to the Turbo type setup. Then I can run meth through that BBI setup.

I’d really love a rock solid 30PSI setup that was bullet proof and can ran all day at the track. 720hp is enough 🤣

Right? If 4.0 doesn’t end up with an even 1000, is he even really trying?? 🤣

If anyone can (will??) do it, I think it will be him.

🤣. Look, 1,000hp would be achievable with a built motor and some bigger turbo’s. But you absolutely would want a MoTeC ecu before attempting such awesomeness 🤣.

MoTeC have just been bought out by Bosch. That could delay things. The other main issue would be the PDK and you’d definitely want Dodson clutches. I have already done the OS Giken diff. So thats good.

I would prefer a daily reliable, track bullet proof 720 over the usual 1,000hp. I have a good friend who has made his 570S 1,000hp and he has barely been able to drive it in 18months of constant issues. Its not just the cost, its the dragged out agony of it should be ready next week - for 18months. Death of a 1,000 cuts.

I want to concentrate in handling and Aero and then some light weight stuff. A light weight 720hp with epic Aero will be a beast at the track.

Can you post a link about Bosch acquiring Motec? I can’t find anything online about that and it’s not listed under Bosch’s list of public subsidiaries.

PWR other side

PWR side

I did the PWR centre when I did the GT3 feint bar. Now finally getting around to the side ones. My original Porsche ones were stone blasted from the OEM GTS front bar having no screen protecting them.

I’m hoping this additional cooling will help to keep the PDK cooler as well. As I believe its engine coolant that keeps them cool as well.

I was definitely just teasing as I know your priorities are to actually have a usable/reliable car vs chasing a hero number. That said, it doesn’t surprise me at all that you’ve sorted out a path to that number and I offer a friendly wager that once you achieve 720 HP you’ll still have an itch for just a bit more. All in good fun and I know there are a lot of people (myself included) really enjoying watching you prove just how much *usable* potential there is in these cars.

Default Extra widebody

Ok so in 991.2 there are 3 sizes.

Narrow body - All Carrera No 4’s. (Non GTS)

Wide Body - All 4’s, all GTS and GT3’s

Extra Wide body - Turbo/S and RS models.

What I want to know is, are the actual guards of TurboS and RS identical and just the inserts different?

Turbo S

GT2-RS

I like the clean look of the Turbo S. It appears it is the same guard as the GT2-RS, however the GT2-RS has an external insert? Can anyone confirm this please?

2-RS vent

Turbo S vent
