Default Li-fe battery

Battery time. I called anti-gravity today to order. Chad was nice enough to say to hold off because of an upcoming sale or group buy. The other change is no need of a special mount. The new design fits the factory mount. I'm big into rc and motorcycles that use Li-fe and Li-po and for me there is no downside. I also fear acid damage from agm. Waiting for the message from Ag now.

We'll be sure to post on Rennlist once we have the details..also wanted to share the video so you can see the info on the newer models that no longer require any additional hardware and are just a drop in fit.

Best regards,
Chad

I just picked up an AH-40 so I’m pretty bummed to hear a new version is coming out. I thought these were all plug and play, using the existing OEM bracket on 911’s?

This was one of the first mods I did to my Carrera T. It was a total turn key situation. A few bolts and some strength to pull out the 50 lbs. of lead that was originally there, and I was good to go. And no codes to boot!

Nothing at all, this will just be a drop in fit and you'll use the stock hardware and mounting cleat on the Porsche to secure it.

No need to be bummed at all as I'm assuming you have one of the newer/current options in a 40Ah capacity since it was a direct fit. The OP had originally been referring to the older RS-30 model I believe, which did need an additional mounting bracket to secure it at that time. The current line is available in multiple OEM group sizes so for Porsche applications and many others it's just a drop in fit with no additional hardware needed.

Best regards,
Chad

Thanks for that info and reassurance, Chad! That's great to hear, no buyers remorse

hmm, not sure what the issue might be there but the link you sent loads up correctly for me..you might want to check our browser settings or try an alternative browser (using google chrome here) to see if that helps?
Best regards,
Chad
