Default 991 - Bose audio stopped?

Hey everyone. Here's the situation...

I drove home late last night from work, car (991.1 S 2012.5) and stereo functioning perfectly. Parked the car overnight, went to bed, got up today and started the car. Now, zero audio is coming out of the Bose system. No FM, no AM, no Bluetooth, nothing. Her sound output. It functioned perfectly last night, silent today. I turned off the car, removed key from ignition, and restarted it hoping a hard resent of the PCM would work - no such luck.

I guess it could be a bad fuse? PCM needing an update? Any thoughts or suggestions form members who may have experienced the same issues would be helpful.

Thanks!

pressing the INFO and SOUND buttons will reboot/restart your PCM.
PCM is not on MUTE nor is the volume turned all the way down?
PCM Screen shows something?

Thanks for the tip. Aside from the lack of audio, PCM appears to functioning normally - buttons respond, display changes based upon input, etc. The system is not muted and the volume has been adjusted to either extreme with no result. I'll try the reset. Thanks again.

No modifications other than the radar detector. So I went back to try the info/sound reset and before I could give it a shot, sound came on. Maybe it just needed another reset with the ignition off. I did do the reset anyway even after having sound and I’ll continue to keep an eye on it. Good news is, it’s functioning at present.

thanks for the replies!

Weird random electrical issues with a German car are not unusual, when the battery gets to end of life, IME. How old is the battery?

Replaced it 4 months ago. Brand new.

PCM reset sounds like a good idea.

edit: I see that you ended up getting things working.
