Default Glare from Aluminum Trim - What to do?

My car has the aluminum trim, which looks nice, but in the bright sun, the glare is horrible. I've already gotten the black steering wheel trim to go with my alcantara steering wheel. I drove the car yesterday in the sun and I literally had to hold my hand over the steering wheel so it wouldn't blind me.
Now, I still have the dash and center console.

Question: Do I just wrap my current aluminum trim in CF or a different color (yellow would work with my color scheme) or do I just bite the bullet and buy CF replacement trim?
Any other options or thoughts are greatly appreciated?

i personally think CF vinyl looks cheap in person. looks ok in photos. what about just gloss black vinyl to wrap the trim and match the steering wheel?

Sunny day for me yesterday as well and the aluminum trim on the steering wheel hub was blinding me. Never noticed this before. Under certain angles to the sun I would rest my hand on the hub. Should be a low tech fix that can be applied when needed, such as a small square of cloth.

Not once has my aluminum trim been an issue. Maybe one day...

I do have a sunroof, but the sun comes in from the windshield, not the sunroof.

I'll have my aluminum trim FS if you want it. I do have the Sport Chrono package as well so it has the cutout for that.

I may just end up getting CF trim and ditch the aluminum. My car came with the CF shift ****, so it would be a good match. There's no way I want to cheapen the interior either after I've spent a small fortune making this car my own (lots of mods...)

If you like the silver look you could just wrap the trim in matte clear.

I've leather trim in my car that I'd be willing to trade for silver trim if you'd like. Best way to do is to wrap it another color or even the matte film idea unless youre set on getting something new completely.
