I would just leave a gentle reminder for everyone that not all warranties are created equal. These prices are for one of the best in the business, a company that is known to write and pay contracts for at least 20+ years that I am personally aware of.
Thanks to this thread I just bought two policies from Mike @SteingoldVolvoCars for my 2018 Macan GTS (Platinum 6/60) and for my CPO 2012 Turbo S (Gold 5/60). Mike had the best prices by far and he was great to work with!
Another satisfied customer here. Michael was super easy to deal with and the entire transaction took fewer than 5 minutes.
Good Price and painless process.
So i was told by Michael that my 2018 991.2 GT3 was a bit too "high-line" for them to offer me a quote. What am I missing here?
While likely not true, I feel like i am being punished for being an amateur Rennlister. ;-)
Sadly, it’s true. Some VIN’s do not present any options in the Fidelity Autorates system. Obviously, if we could
help, we would. Apparently the system see’s these high-ticket vehicles as a bit too expensive for extended warranty coverage..

What? This makes no sense. Why would you not provide a policy on any P car? If it costs more to insure it - reflect that in the price shown to the customer. It's the same with my car. A little higher mileage 'may' imply higher risk. But that (higher risk) was displayed in my quote.
Help me understand.
Exactly our view too, but as soon as the VIN is entered, it immediately returns an error saying "VIN IS NOT ELIGIBLE" - something Fidelity must have imbedded in the backend system to not return any options. Apologies, but the system is all we can work with..
Can you address the questions regarding "Prorate Refund" in case the warranty is cancelled at any time due to car being sold/crashed/warranty no longer needed etc.
