I'm just wondering, if I'm the only one who has this compartment empty most of the time?
Sometimes I had put my sunglasses-box in there. But then I don't. What do you use it for?

I find it to be pretty useless. I have two kids that ride in the back seat. Waiting on someone to create a cup holder mod for this.

Nada. Just replaced mine in leather-hoping for someone to create a cup holder for the kiddos back there.

I find that my Porsche water bottle fits in there perfectly lying in a horizontal position. Doesn't tip over or fall out like in the so called "cup holders".

I keep a folding chair there for gatherings and stops on mountain drives. Behind the passenger seat on the floor I keep a coffee thermos, coffee mug(Its the Porsche techqipment mug that I don't like putting in the cup holders due to size) and a couple water bottles as well as a cigar caddy. They rest on the floor but with the seat pushed back and tilted back it keeps them from rolling around in the car. Easy enough to tilt the seat forward easily to access when I need to from the drivers seat.

My daughter uses it to hold her hair bands and little toys that she brings for long rides (bracelets, Lego people etc.)
