Default Good wash for Miami Blue

Hi,

I'm considering what wash to buy. Chemical Guys has a kit on Amazon,
Amazon Amazon

Thoughts? I'm not sure I'd use all the included products. I'm also just looking at buying a new wash mitt and the chemical guys wash
Amazon Amazon

I would appreciate your thoughts or recommendations. Car is almost 5yrs old, so i'm somewhat behind the curve and am focusing on maintaining the paint.

I like all the Chemical Guys products. I wash my 991 CS CAB with their waterless wash most of the time. I only use the foam wash if she is really dirty! Their sealants and detail sprays are awesome! The hard part with CG’s is all the options can be overwhelming! If you baby your car the waterless wash and V07 sealant or their new spray ceramic Hydro Speed detail spray will make quick work of keeping your car looking great. My 911 has full Expel coverage so I use their Wrap Detail spray for quick cleaning and use V07 after a wash. When I run out of V07, I’m switching to the Hydro Speed detail spray after washes. CG’s customer service is great, if you have a question just give them a call and they will give whatever info you need!

For quick detailing, I use Chemical Guys Speed Wipe. It works great. Leaves a really nice shine. For regular washes I use Chemical Guy's Extreme Body Wash + Wax applied with a foam cannon. Then I use a bucket of clean water and a micro fibre wash mitt to gently wash the car. Then a final rinse, and dry with a good quality drying towel. When I really want a shine I apply a coat of P21S Carnauba wax for the ultimate shine. Keeping my car clean is enjoyable therapy for me!

My recommendation if you want the best products and want a kit, just go to obsessedgarage.com. You're going to pay a bit more for the convenience, but the products are quite good.

I have been using Adams car shampoo for 7+ years and find it great. It's all I use. I also use a Microfiber madness incredipad which I found out about through Matt at Obsessed Garage.

Can't go wrong with Chemical Guys. I've been using their stuff for years. As someone mentioned, they have TOO many products that overlap...as a result I have about 6 waxes, 5 sealants........Their interior stuff and tire shine are the best I've ever used. Have fun!

Adams polishes has a thorough product line up and have sales all the time. AutoGeek, detailed image car many brands that are great and have sales all the time too. I’m partial to Gyeon products. Meguiars is a product line that is tested and very good and readily affordable. The Gold Car shampoo is very good. Can get at home depot and autozone and other local retailers. Esoteric Car Care caries limited brands but they have been vetted.

My 2015 Cayenne pictured above has Hyper Charge coating on just about everything on the outside! She is an outside car no garage and 6 years old!

I know nothing about Chemical Guys products. Pick a tested and vetted ceramic coating line.

I just wanted to throw out there that these wash products don't know the difference between Miami Blue and Carrara White.
Having great products is nice, but using proper technique is most important.

*also wanted to add that using the proper microfiber drying towels will go a long way to prevent swirls. Check out the Rag Co. Look for the North Korean drying towels.
