Understood, thanks for clarifying...

You can use the aero kit as a ducktail as well.

I understand the 991.1 parts wont fit the 991.2. I'd have to get the 991.2 techart version, right?

I didn’t know you have a .2, to be honest I don’t know 100% if the .1 parts don’t fit the .2.

Yea if you go with the Techart option get the .2 version as its made with airflow in mind. If you just want to run a .1 OEM ducktail I've seen at least one on the forum that mouted (said it was a direct fit) on his .2 C2 but again, air to the IC's since you have to code out the active wing then becomes an issue.

Hey @911. and @97supratt - how are you guys handling the decklid cover latch and mechanism needing to be relocated? The latch itself is obviously pretty straight forward to where it bolts on the new decklid, but what about the locking mechanism thing on the car-side? Looks like the GT ones are further back, closer to the bumper edge?

I gave up. The bumper just doesnt sit flush with the decklid and spoiler frame base.

I used the stock crossmember and was able to use the stock mounting point for one of the bolts that holds the actuator and another one that was previously unused for the 2nd one. I had to turn it just slightly to get it working. Originally I fabbed up a U shaped bracket that would utilize both mounting points and hold the actuator that way. Your cars appears to be a .1 so either or will work. 1 bolt is enough to hold the unit in place the way that its designed.

that looks like an awesome track set up. Wouldn’t want to be seen with something like that on the street however. Look like the engine cover will need some serious cutting?

I'm curious about Tyler's setup, How is the engine cover bolted on and is it still opening the same way?
That new bracket also serves to bolt on the new gooseneck mounts?
Is the stock cover still used and what kind of mods need to be done?
More info for the curious!

Yes, I have the odd question as well. Like hurry up and certify it, then Shut up and take my money. 🤣

I am itching to see a rear shot as i don’t know if he retained stock cover, or it it were cut. I note the fans are missing in that shot. His is a T, does the T still have a fan either side of the intake?

Yes the fans are there. I opened the photo on my Mac and adjusted the exposure, and the fans can be clearly seen.
