I'm sure that there is a thread on this somewhere, but I'll ask anyway... What modifications are needed to the standard spoiler mechanics/electronics to correctly install this? I assume that this is a static spoiler, in that it doesn't raise/lower at speed.

ya it doesn’t raise or lower, it’s a fixed wing. It looks like there’s a base that it sits on and the brake light connects to the original connector.

Do you have to use a PIWIS to recode things so that the car doesn't try to activate the spoiler?

I‘m not completely sure. When I press the button inside the car nothing happens. I purchased the 911 with the aero kit spoiler already installed.
