It looks like you buy their spoiler + OEM base and harness.

Ducktail 73 RS-style for Porsche 991 Mk1
Rear Wiring Harness Additional Brake Light for Porsche 991.1 Sport Design Package
Support Rear Spoiler for Porsche 991.1 Sport Design Package
looks like an OE reproduction but with the same mounting style as the OE (i.e. remove the motorized spoiler and replace the mounting plate). If you are going aftermarket this mounting style would definitely be preferred over attaching one to the motorized spoiler as you can just have Porsche reprogram the PCM for sport design package and everything works.

Default Ducktail Crooked , how to remove / reinstall

Just picked up my 991 911 GTS w Ducktail fixed wing.

i noticed on the right side the wing doesn’t lay flush with the bumper/rear taillight

its off about 1/2 inch or so but enough to drive me crazy looking at it.

does anyone have any input on how to resolve this issue. I will attach some pics

thanks!

No idea what is going on here. Given that there is one latch in the middle, we cant attribute this to a misaligned latch. Have you measured/checked to see if the Ducktail is defective/bent? (since your lights, GTS grill and bumper seem to line up equally on both sides)

I have not tried to measure , i will do that tonight and see.

It could be defective. I’m just curious how no one has spotted it but me lol.

i was gong to remove the entire duck tail and reinstall seeing where the problem is.

or might bring it to Porsche and have them mess around with it (last resort)

I will update you on the measures tonight

check and compare the mounting points also, see if the right side mounting point is misaligned when compared to the left

The point to the right of the green circle

there are adjustment screws on the spoiler itself on the underside. Remove it by removing the two screws under the engine bay lid and slide it forward and up. Once off there are four adjustment screws (hand screws two on each side). Screw that one in more until it lays flat. Keep playing with it until you get it to your liking. To re-install just line up the notches on the mounting plate and slide back into place (towards you) and re attach the screws (8 nm)

nope. Just the screws- there is enough clearance to slide it off without taking the cover off.

Waiting for someone to make one for the dot 2 cars so they'll work with the intercoolers, etc. My son just put a ducktail on our 993 and love the "look".

Not the greatest picture but this is mine. Just had it mounted before it goes in for paint.
