Default First 911 - 991.1 C2

Just wanted to stop in and say hi. Picked up my 14' 991.1 C2 this past weekend. About a year ago I had pulled the trigger on a C2S, but backed out because I wasn't crazy about the deal. Since then I have been on the hunt for a 991 7spd car. Seems like they are hard to come by, then this one popped up and was CPO at my local dealer! It's very lightly optioned to say the least. I plan on adding techart springs and PSE at some point and maybe the duck tail down the road .

Did a light detail on Labor Day and noticed my hood struts are toast. Already putting that CPO to work lol.

Beautiful color, and a stick to top it off.
Welcome to a dying breed of rare 991 MT's.

Thanks!

The one option I'm super thrilled about is the ventilated seats. The Texas heat isn't letting up anytime soon.

I also noticed the ***** on the radio are sticky. Anyone else have this issue? Wondering if they just need to be cleaned or replaced.

I've used Isopropyl alcohol with a lint free cloth, without having to remove the buttons.
Others have attempted this..

Thanks for the link. I was just about to try and clean them, but dealer did confirm they will replace the buttons under warranty.

Congratulations looks great!

Even though not a high spec car it does have key options like Bose and the ventilated seats.

i always wanted to do a base with PCCB, PSE, and SC, but never did.

yes I have a 2012 991 that had the same issues... after I purchased it a couple months ago

I used some Goo Gone on a paper Towel and carefully rubbed the soft feel off the *****...
They feel great now... Pretty much a $100 bucks to replace them.

YMMV but that worked for me...

Nice. You're basically in the same car I am, if you swap ventilated seats for SC.

Great color! You have the best option - 7 speed! Less options means more mods

Really loving the 991 so far. Got to say, my very first mod is most likely going to be a rennline phone mount. Anyone else using one?
