Well crap...sorry to hear that man...I would demand my $$ back from Porsche since they didn't fix the car for the reason you brought it in...Good luck and hopefully you'll find a resolution.
I would also have them re-do the cleaning and frigi fresh...I can't believe you did not notice any improvement after that....

I have an update, I used yesterday a new AC Cleaner, I have a professional apply it in the vents, I can tel you for the first time since I bought the car, its smell free, I hope it remains, worth saying that the dealer refused to apply AC cleaner foam cans, I had to do it myself and it didn't work, I was doing something not thorough, yesterday I have it done by a professional for the first time, I will keep you posted!

I had this same issue recently and tried all of the things people have suggested in this thread. It turns out my evaporator had a leak in it and the smell was freon. Under warranty, they had to pull the dash and put in a new evaporator and now it no longer smells.

Cabin filters should be changed every 2-3 years, so it can't hurt

My problem was a leaking evaporator which is behind the dash. It smells like mildew but it was refrigerant. Have someone do a leak and dye test to see. Fortunately mine was covered under warranty

So my wife’s Audi Q5 had same problem. Instead of using the heat trick, I parked it in driveway with full AC blast and windows down on a humid day for 30 minutes. Let the evaporator work overtime. Generated a huge puddle under car which is good because I knew the drains worked

anyway, seem to have cleaned it enough and no more smell.

Were you able to resolve?
I am having this problem with my 2020 Cayenne Turbo. Dealer has tried everything including changing evaporator coil.

I tried the nextzett 96110515 Klima-Cleaner one time a few years ago in my 911 and it solved my odour issues. Beyond that, I still swear by changing the front trunk filter more regularly... this post is now my reminder that I haven't changed it this year.

It doesn't always work - I've tried the same stuff in my Kia Sedona a few times over the years and it doesn't really do anything for the odours in that vehicle... but my wife drives the Sedona most often, and she runs the AC 100% of the time.

The solution is really just to prevent this from happening in the first place - run the HVAC with the AC turned off in the last 2-3 minutes before your destination.

Our new GV80 has automatic air conditioning (not just auto climate, the A/C will turn off/on as needed to cool or dehumidify the vehicle sufficiently)... I think this will also prevent odour issues as the AC doesn't run nearly as often as a typical auto climate system where it is on 100% of the time.
