Default AC Mildew Smell

Its like resident evil, I live in an all year humid hot city, my 911 is 991.1 2015 model, only 20,000km, very neat condition, it has one flaw though, a mild mildew smell comes consistently out of the AC vents, I tried the following procedures:

1- Replaced Filters and AC Gas.
2- Applied Ozon in the Car
3- Had the evaporator replaced by the agency
4- Applied Klima Clean foam in the vents

Nothing helped unfortunately, the smell is still coming out of the vents, mild but consistent.

PLEASE HELP!

Try running the heater on hottest setting on full high for a minute or two. I think it burns off the moisture in the system which is I think what causes the mildew smell.

Make sure the drain lines in your car are not clogged is about the only suggestion I got after you listed what have done so far. Even if they are not clogged make sure they are clean.

Could it be you have a dead critter somewhere in the car?

No, the car went into extensive procedure in the agency while replacing the evaporator, and besides the smell is very mild and is moldy not anything else.

This is my guess. Let it sit at idle with AC on max and see if you get any drips under the car.

As Homeles suggests, turn the AC off well before you shut off the car. This is the # 1 cause of mildew/AC odors in cars, because there is condensation in the vents and when you leave the AC on then shut the car down, the mildew starts. By turning off the AC and running just outside air for the last two minutes, you will help clear the water vapors out of the system. No more smell.

Or squirt a diluted chlorine bleach into the air vents, that kills mildew instantly. Will stain your carpets though, so if you go this route protect your interior from overspray.
