Tony is awesome - I went to him a lot for track prep and a couple PPIs. Second that recommendation.

That is NUTS! I pay at the Porsche dealership around $275 for an oil change with filters and paid right around $1,200 for 4 year 40K service. Yes, you are being ripped off.

We should start a thread: "Indy Shops". Maybe one could start a post with the state/city and list the Indy shop(s) they have experience with.

isn't basic service included as a part of the warranty/service package? my 911 is a 2018 model and I haven't paid a penny for regular oil, filter, brake pad, change/replacements, except for any service I requested outside of the scheduled services (paid for one oil change after break-in period, and an airfilter over the summer). you guys don't have this in the states?

Total rip off. I just had the 40k service done on my 2012 991 which only has 22,000 miles. My service at an Indy was less than half of that.

I talked with the advisor and asked to do only oil change, cab fiter, and brake fluids. Still a $1400 quote.
Am I getting ripped off? Or all Porsche dealers price like this?

edit: I also brought in my own brake fluids.
edit2: This was at Porsche Irvine. Can anyone recommend me good indie shops near Irvine? Appreciate any input!
Typical dealer prices for the 4 year service that includes plugs, oil, brake fluid, filters and a bunch of inspections. In my neck of the woods it is about 2500 bucks.

I'm curious to know what the $3,000 service included that was not included in the $1,400 quote?

Tell them to go scratch! Porsche's time based services are ridiculous.

At 6K miles. Change the oil, change the brake fluid. Cabin filter should be fine.

That should be $500 or less.

Try Lang Racing Development in Lake Forest. They've done alignment and other work for me, good guys. BTW, my car was at the Irvine dealer yesterday and I think I saw yours. Speed yellow? Mine was a Racing yellow Carrera T with Matte grey stripes and Porsche side graphics.
