Rear seat luggage/dog carrying modification

I use a standard dog seat cover - only had to make loops to attach to rear iso-fix points to hold it in place. I usually put cushions under or over the cover and my dog (a 50 pound mixed breed) likes resting her head on the center console. The cover extends over the "cubby hole" in the middle so that doesn't get ruined when she decides to stand and look out the windshield to see where we're going. When the kid is with, I just fold the cover over so she can still clip into the seat belt.
For entry, I tried a rubber car floor mat but it wasn't pliable enough so I just use a thick towel over the sill and door rubbers. On her first entry into the car (the day I bought it, before the towel), she ripped a one inch slit in the door seal with her back nails. Oops. Still haven't got around to fixing it - apparently quite easy with rubber glue.

I just bought a 991.1 C4S, and I have a 45 lb mid-size dog this looks like just the trick for. @Icebreaker do you have any updates on this process?
And would whoever your supplier of seat cushions etc is consider precutting these items for a group buy?
Thanks for all the information.

Put your passenger in the back, the Dane in the front seat, and drop the Targa top.

I spent some time working on the best solution I've come up with is below. My pup is a 65lb Wirehaired Pointing Griffon.
- I take the medium Orvis Hammock (which I've used in multiple cars) - https://www.orvis.com/grip-tight-win...ctor/20H1.html
- I use two small bungee ties to make a loop from the rear deck cargo hooks. You end up with a loop.
- I attach the left and right strap on the hammock to each respective bungee.
- The front of the hammock, which would typically attached to a front headrest lays flat on the floor.
- It works perfectly for me and the pup, who ingresses/egresses through the passenger door. I keep the pax seat further up to facilitate and had an extra section of PPF applied to the paint in the door sill.
- On average, I remove it monthly to wash the hammock and vacuum it a couple times a week.
- Absolutely no wear and tear on the interior. There are many solutions out there, but that's how I do it.

Here are some more detailed pictures along with dimensions.
There are basically two identical seat filler cushions, and a single glued top cushion.
It is easy to pull in and out, as well as to store. I plan to get some automotive carpeting and to use cardboard to make a template. After I cut it out, I will bring it back to the carpeting supplier to have the edges "banded".

I built the backseat foam inserts for my Griffon!
The dog is actually sitting on the foam in the back, looking around while I stepped away. I tilted the seats forward so she could do this without being restricted. She is a good dog and has never stepped off the carpet onto the leather. Last fall we took her on a two week cross-country drive. She had more room back there then she needed, plus the Targa still gives you room for gear where the top normally stores if you travel with the roof in place.

We bought the Cab just so that "WE" are not restricted to always using the Macan to take trips...
We have 2 10 #'s that fit in car/dog seats held in place with strap over the top of the seat and a strap around the back of the seat in the Macan...now I have to figure out how to secure the 2 seats in the Cab...
We just bought the 2019 C2, and I have not even looked at the rear area.....

I love my pups, but I just won't allow them into the 911. No matter how careful you are, there is going to be dog hair accumulation, much of it you never get out no matter how hard you try. I want one car without dog hairs in it.
