I am close to 100,000km in my 991.2 C2. Biggest issue was getting caught in a hailstorm, but Porsche fixed that & insurance paid, so you cannot tell. I did have a valve(?) fail in the heating line, which basically meant I had no heating in the car...not normally an issue here in Africa, but it was the middle of winter and I was 2km high... Bought the car from new, to my spec, and use it as a daily driver, which can range from long haul, on long straight roads, with active cruise control set for hours on end, to “spirited drives” over mountain passes. Rear tyres last me around 20,000km, which possibly describes my driving...I am sure others, using their cars only on high days and holidays will get through rubber much quicker.
Other than the hail and heating...this has been a bullet proof car. Amazing car. During the first part of this awful Corona virus it had to sit untouched for 8 weeks, and started immediately. I do let it warm up properly before giving it the beans, and similarly, let it cool down a bit if I have been ragging it along. Love this car, certainly a keeper.
That's great. You are an inspiration. I need to drive my car more.
I've had two 991.2s:
36k on the first one, stone chips, tires (nail), software upgrade to headunit (not connecting to carplay), software upgrade to transmission (jerky) and coilpack x2
14k on the second one, A/C compressor (dealer accident), squeaky window trim seals on convertible top, window switches replaced, tires (nail)
All in not bad but been worth having warranty as each time I've just dumped it at the dealer and driven off in a Cayenne or Macan. For comparison on $100k cars, I had more maintenance costs on my R8 at 35k, robo-clutch slipping, magnetic shocks leaking ($12k), hood catch snapped etc. My Range Rover Vogue by 60k was a basket case of electrical gremlins and would never consider one outside of a bumper to bumper warranty.
This is my dd with a 6 mile spirited week day commute. Other than a few squeaks and several sets of rear tires she hasn’t had a single issue. The majority of the miles are highway. Never been tracked. Cobb and dsc sport tuned. She has been fully self maintained. Most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned. A joy to drive.
78k miles on my apr tuned manual 17 carrera. I have only had a few small issues to note. Headlight delamination ( fixed by rennlights), 7 nails in my tires, two broken windshields (rocks), and one noisy rear strut over bumps. I have the dsc upgrade as well and a few track days as well as autocross. It is my DD, these cars are rock solid in my experience.

It’s always great to hear about long term use with a tuned vehicle. At approx how many miles was the car tuned and how long ago? Also, was this a Stage 1 tune?

Any water pump leaks? As an observation, it does seem that cars driven more don't seem as likely to get water pump leaks.
126,000 KM on my 2017 S and it’s the most reliable car I’ve had in 30 years.
Yes, I’ve had the water pump issue but that’s fine by me.
I didn’t like the PASM suspension so I’m now enjoying the super low-sticktion Ohlins RnT coilovers.
When it was time for brakes, I chose to go with AP/Essex rotors and Hawk pads.
For thirty years, I’ve never owned a car for more than 24 months. I’ve now had this one for five years and can’t even think of getting something different. I’ll probably take her up to 500,000 KM.

I got the stage 1 APR tune they offer with a slightly lower peak torque to promote clutch life for the manual transmission Feb 2021 @ 32k miles. It was well worth the cost and since then has driven flawlessly and still on the original clutch at 78k miles with no signs of wear. When I got the tune I had already installed the soul exhaust and sports headers.
40K on mine, bought it with 27K as a CPO a little over 2yrs ago. Only dealer visit was for P24D6 code, tank ventilation pressure sensor after a trackday, covered under CPO.
Otherwise it gets driven just about every day, done a few trackdays, and get regular maintenance with my local indy.
I am a bit embarrassed here with only 16k miles since April 2017. I don't use it in the Connecticut winter, it isn't used for runs to crowded parking lots and many of my summer weekends are spent on the boat. That being said, time has been kind to it, with no issues other than the well known water pump leak replaced under warranty. Three track days, lots of coffee runs and backroad rides and it still looks and runs like new. It has been tuned for a year, and it is wearing in like your favorite pair of jeans or leather jacket. Total keeper.
I picked up my '17 S in summer of 2022 with 13k on it, I have almost 32k on it now. It's my daily. I had some sensor issues when i first bought it, but all fixed under CPO warranty. No water pump issues as of yet. But I will be getting a visual before my CPO warranty goes up. Only service I've done is an oil change at my local indy and I might do a numeric shifter, but not necessary. Just put my winter tires and roof box on and plan to take it skiing/road tripping in the winter. It's super reliable and a blast to drive. My dog and kid like it too!
