I cant speak for 200 cell catted ones, however I think the spool up time seems to be slightly faster on the catless pipes. I felt it most, while on throttle, back off throttle and again back on throttle.

So I Installed the Soul sport cats yesterday, those upper far screws on those heat shields are horrid, we had to cut a wrench for the o2 sensors too. I’ll agree that I wasn’t as impressed by the sound on first drive, however it was noticeable that the turbo was spooling faster (on boost gauge) and there was more turbo sound. I know I need to give it a minute to break in, I’m still confident that I’ll get what I am wanting from reading all the positive feedback here.

I have a couple questions:
1. What exactly needs time/break-in? Is it the cats themselves or is it the exhaust? I have the standard non-pse exhaust.
2. I followed the instructions and used copper gasket sealant (permatex copper spray) on the gaskets. I looked under the vehicle after the first drive and the gasket sealant appears to have liquified and has rehardened on the bolts holding the cats to the turbo… has anyone else seen this? I don’t think it really matters and the stuff chips right off of the bolts but I’m surprised that high temp gasket sealant is at least in part liquefying.

Yes it is, we had a nice talk. They installed the Techart springs and did an alignment. BMC air filter was also installed

They moved to a different shop (bigger) but still in Longwood
