Finally the Soul Sports Cats are on the car, yay!!!!!
Thanks to John at Soul Performance for making me the cats quickly and the time in helping me find a good shop to get them installed.
The cats are just what the car needed to wake her up, they sound great. Loud but not so loud that I can still enjoy the top down. No exhaust fumes and pops are much better now. Can't wait to break them in this weekend.
A must have if you want your 991.2 sounding aggressive
I was able to get the 1st start-up vid but it's crappy, my cell can't record what they really sound like
Enjoy in good health! Slipper slope you've stepped on here...
so when's the tune going in?
Thank you
I'm not sure yet, I was thinking of leaving it for last
What has me worried is the warranty, I've done lots of reading and have seen a few of the 2017 models having water pump issue. I'm not sure if the problem has been fix on the 2018 and up models.
Did you tune yours yet?
PS car is at shop getting Techart springs installed
Did they get louder after a week or so? Or do you think it's the same as install day?
I think they got louder. I picked my car up on rainy day, heavy rain. With the windows up, I remember thinking the difference from stock PSE was minimal. Wrong, after a few weeks, BIG difference, especially in sport mode/valves open, and noticeable turbo wizzing, all great stuff. In regular mode barely a difference so great for when you want to be a little more subtle.

surely with the number of failures with water pumps Porsche warranty would cover, tune or no tune. Now, a blown head gasket or some other major issue maybe not. The water pump has failed on some nearly new low mile .2s.
