This is a great thread - exciting comments all around, hope the sounds gets louder soon and you report back with good news. I have the Soul performance exhaust (non PSE) on my 17' C2 with anti-drone design and its the other half of our puzzle here, I think. You guys have the sport cats, I don't. I have the x-pipe, you don't. Does anyone out there have both?? I watched John Gaydos' vid on the SOUL website tonight of the set-up with BOTH, and using my Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones it was ******* insane on my laptop, in my head. Wondering if anyone has the sport cats and the xpipe and how loud and crazy is it really? Someone above said slippery slope, so true. I find myself wanting louder and more aggresive sound than I ever thought I would and now am trying to talk myself into spending another $2500 (installed) on sport cats to mate to the xpipe, during this economic crisis where i should chill out.

I think you need to give them a few good thermal cycles, i.e., get them nice and hot a few times. So you'll need to go full-throttle a few times to get the heat up and cycle them.

John told me to keep the oem sport mufflers as they are straight thru design on the 991.2.
He did advice me just to get cat delete but I didn't want the exhaust fumes nor the chance that the eng light would light up the dashboard. So I ordered the Soul Sport cats. I have no fumes and no check eng light just what I wanted.
The Sport cats did wake up the car, I even heard it 1 block away when indy hit it for me on test drive to make sure everything was good. It sounded great but I just want a little more.
Soul is making a header for the 991.2 but this may make it tooo loud in combination with the cats especially for a cabriolet
Let's see what happens in a few hundred miles, I"ll be sure to report back

Exhaust tips just came in, I went with 4" SS angle cut double wall
Now the aggressive sound will also have an aggressive look too
