Guess not, I have the original window stick, says Launch Edition, no Sport Chrono. What do you mean PDK can't be optimized? It's pretty dang perfect now and I've done all the updates to the software and calibration with my PIWIS

Personally I think Sports+ is only good on the track & sport mode + manual is way more usable on the street.
You can always adjust PDK tuning with a Cobb tune as well, or so I've read.
Only thing you do absolutely need SC for is launch mode, that's not a fungible thing.

There's a faction of people that like the way Sport+ mode holds shifts off to redline all the time.

[QUOTE=Spyerx;16599534]typical cycle:
I'm interested in a well spec'd PDK 991.1 C2S in mid 50s, I've put a few offers out there, and its getting close now... best was 59k for a 130k msrp 2013 with 28k miles.

Put my 2012 (991) cab S up for sale on consignment to a dealer. Very well optioned at $133K MRSP and priced at 54K. Take a look.

I love those matte stripes. I wonder what that would look like on Aqua Blue.
Anecdotal info for the thread: I got my very nicely optioned ($120k MSRP) Aqua Blue over black 2012 991.1 C2S with CPO coverage until next March for $61k just over a month ago. From what I can see that's still a fantastic price. So yeah, I'd say things are holding pretty steady.

I used to hate black too, until I paint corrected and ceramic coated my last two black cars. Mostly no touch washing now with perfect outcomes. No scratches or swirls at all. Looks beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to get black since the ceramic coatings make them so easy to clean now.

I've got a dark blue which isn't much different. Perhaps I should consider this. What's no touch washing mean? I have Expel over the front of the car. I wonder if you would ceramic coat over that?

I think I'm actually the dummy that overpaid for that 14 C2S in dallas you're talking about. And if it is my car you're talking about then confirmed it went for $65k. Maybe I didnt look long enough but the selection of guards red C2S with chrono under 70k was quite limited. I'm almost afraid to ask but out of curiosity what did you find in your PPI that I didnt?
I had a pretty extensive PPI done by RAC Performance in carrollton and they were convinced it was in pretty good condition other than an old battery, a cracked door seal, and the driver side door panel coming loose.
Is this the car you were talking about?

I have been eyeing the c2s for the past 3 years as a daily driver....and they seem to hold very well and depreciates rather slowly (It will NEVER APPRECIATE lol btw). Like others mentioned there are deals to be had but they come and go very quickly (usually under a week). I just bought a 13 c2s cab cpo 132k msrp car with 15k miles for mid 60s, wouldnt say it's a steal but i feel that's fair with the pandemic discount. Plan to keep it for a long time, the next question would be if the car's reliable enough to not have extended warranty. My 981 for the past 5 years have been pretty bulletproof

I'm still uncertain if go for a 997 GTS or 991.1 S as I will drive the car a lot. in my ex 981 S I put 30k miles in 18 months.
An Agata Gray S in the 60's would be a good to go.

yes porsche dealer thus the cpo
i think if u like a bit more feel and like a more compact feeling car the 997 is the way to go. The 991 feels big...and honestly power wise they felt pretty similar despite what the paper says. I was surprised i didnt feel much of a "upgrade" in power when i switched from the 981...but i think the wife will enjoy the "tech" and comfort better thus the 991
