Well, Luke at Sunset hasn't returned my answer on email. I wanted him to confirm the lube he has was the right one with his Techs. Maybe I'll just buy it, use it, and then I'm willing to ship it to the next Rennlister. I'll send to you first if I pull the trigger soon.

R-Rated, I think you are posting in the wrong thread. This is the "what are you doing to your 991 during the Covid lock-in", I think you want the real-estate forum on Zillow.

About all can manage was a basic wash and detail.

- Clay bar
- Wax
- Windows
- Interior detail (vacuum, 303)
- Leather Conditioner
- WT floorliners out, OEM Porsche carpets in (after shampoo)

I put the battery on my CTEK Multi 3300. Got a full charge after about 12 hours on the plug. Depending on how long this goes on I may wire it to the battery direct lol.

...and lastly I played a game of what I like to call "take out all the crap". Items located include:

- T shirt giveaway from Amelia Island
- Dupont Registry
- Short USB (damn I forgot I had that)
- car mini-safe
- "Air Freshener" bamboo bag I'd forgotten about

...and a 10mm box end (those that know, will know. )

I, too, have spent some quarantime shining things up. I did a strip-wash, taking off all the product already on the paint. Full clay bar and paint correction, buffing some imperfections on the top that had been driving me crazy. Then, two full coats of Hydro Slick Ceramic Coating from Chemical Guys, letting each coat cure for 24 hours.
This is probably the cleanest and shiniest my car has been in its four years of life. Except now, it’s too pretty to drive.

Besides my 914 restoration, I have started removing and thinning out the scrub oak that are too close to the house, in a attempt to reduce brush fire danger. Here is the boss checking my work--just the first 10 minutes.

Antigravity battery incoming. My car isn't old but the battery is telling me it's knackered (first test is to try start/stop - never worked for months now, next indicator is when the PSM; 4WD; etc say they don't want to play)

Started putting the other toy together for spring. I do love the new tech in the 991.2 C2 but this thing is a different Beast.

Years ago, I friend from work had a Grand National. His license plate was "1QUIKV6". Cool car. Thx for posting.

Porsche_nuts, OK, I just decided to buy it this AM. I hope it works. Got tired of waiting for a reply. I hope they are still shipping parts during Covid-19? I'll send to you if I get it, and then you should pass it along to another RL'er. I'm not even sure I need it, but I'm game for another project. With the new extension to April 30th, my car will probably sit another month.

  • Topped off the oil
  • Installed the Zunsport grills after doing a thorough cleaning
  • Detailed the car and took it out for a drive in Austin, TX (of course it just had to rain on the way home)

15 Carrera GTS

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the sound now. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Not obnoxiously loud. No complaints from my wife although she doesn’t like me driving around town with the window down. Then it’s too loud for her. I love it though. Not sure the best way to describe the sound other to say its much deeper, obviously louder and has more turbo whistling noise. I did the install myself. The only issue I had was getting one of the stock cats off - clamp was too tight and deformed the tube slightly.
