Default 991 fuel consumption

I own a 991.1 2012 C2S. Reset my data for today and drove an hour trip. Not hard on the gas today - (Lots of road constructions) But surprisingly low fuel consumption!!! Around 7,2 l /100km. (32mpg) Im amazed how low consumption it can reach!

On my one and only HPDE, averaged 8mpg. Yes, 8. Otherwise about 20 with some spirited driving.

A COBB tune also helps with gas consumption.

I have finished a few tanks at 30 mpg, and at least one about 32. Those were road trips cruising at 65 to 85.

+/- 16 mpg for my 2019 C4 with the MT. Mostly city driving.

My 2017 BMW 340i with MT had better gas economy for similar power and engine displacement (3L in-line 6 cyl. 355 hp) +/- 20 mpg.

I've averaged around 25 mpg over 94000.
The car occasionally gets 33-36 mpg on long trips when driven gently. Autocross, who knows, maybe 2 gallons per mile.

'17 C2 here. Since June last year when I bought it as a CPO with 18K miles:

Max MPG: 31.8
Min MPG: 18.7

Over the 7,309 miles I've driven the car, I've put in 298.8 gallons for a 24.5 mpg average. All fuel except for trips is Costco Premium.

The gas mileage has been one of the surprises of buying a 991.2.

Mine went from 17 to 20 with the Cobb Stage 1 tune, same style of driving.

Default my 964

Would always hit 30mpg exactly on road trips. Lucky If I get 26 in my C2S .1. I just have to hit the fun button when the left lane stacks up.

Depends. We did a comparison last time at the track. Every one, 991s, 981s or any other model all registered 9mpg.
I was told by several indie people in the Pcar biz that, that is as low as it can go, at least here (US).
At the other end of the spectrum, I will get 26 - 28mpg highway, in a stock 991.1 4S.
