Toughts on this MT 2012.5 991.1
Looking to get into my first porsche. I dont keep my cars very long so resale was important to me. At first I was shopping only for a PDK 4S but was offered this MT C2S ( funny right )
After speaking with friends they all convinced me that a manual C2S will be the best way for me to experience a first porsche.
Now how much would you guys price this at? What do you think of resale c4s pdk vs c2s mt?

An MT is far more difficult to find, as only about 10% of the 991's were ordered with MT.
It looks like a very nice car and the options listed check all the right boxes. Full leather interior?
Is that a glass roof or did he slap a skin on the top of the car?
As for the resale discussion, I wouldn't even bother getting into it as it is completely subjective.
I presume it's a private sale with some type of service history and an accident-free report.
Where is the car located and what is the seller asking. (Geography does make a difference).
Either way you can't go wrong..

It looks to be a good build and a good option. Can't go wrong with a manual and very hard to find. Them Rotiforms are sweet and compliment that car. 26K miles only is not too shabby. Get a PPI on that just for your own peace of mind, if everything checks out,you really like the car and checks all the options you've been looking for, then price is not the primary factor.

Not to be a downer, but I would put my money on a 991.2. 2017's can be found 73K and up on auto trader. Maybe not optioned that well, but still. The price parody is close enough for me to want a 2017 991.2 over a first year 991.1.
The 2017 S models seem to start around 80-85K. To me that 20K is worth every penny for a 3yr old car over a 8yr old car. The infotainment alone makes a big difference to me.
Thats just me though. No hate meant!

Looks great but it’s standard interior, not full leather interior. Make sure you check the door cards and battery date!

And once the 2017 is 8yrs old, Im sure it will fall inline with the price the 8yr old 2012 is today.
And if ones prefers NA, then I would look at a 2016. But again, thats just me. I dont fault anyone for choosing what they want. Im just sharing my opinion that I would not get a 1st model year car when much newer ones are not THAT much more. But if you like what you see and the price works. Then go for it man. I get it.
But if you have not driven both or really seen the infotainment differences. I would highly suggest you try that before making your final call. Thats all man. Good luck with your decision!

I'll be brutally honest.
Please drive the car first. It's in Montreal near you? I'm a manual guy and purchased a new off the dealer floor 2013 C2S, drove a new 2013 manual car at the time as well and that shifter/trans was new to the 991 at the time. It just didn't feel right and even the salesman told me at the time they are still working out the manual on the 991 (the 991 had only been out a few months) at the time. They hadn't even released the Turbo yet.
I went with the PDK begrudgingly at the time but appreciated it after. I agree with most that by the 2016 GTS they finally got it right.
This is just my tiny opinion. Please don't take it religiously. Maybe this car has upgrades or etc.
If it's your first P Car, please just drive it before purchasing it. It may be one of the good ones and you'll love it!
Beautiful car. Everyone loves a Roti Car.

I don't think i've every seen a black roof wrap to look like a glass sunroof. Interesting concept.
