Am I reading this right in the heat shield removal pdf? It appears the turbocharger must be removed in order to remove the lower heat shield, but to do the plugs only the upper heat shield needs to come off?

Preliminary work for heat shield (lower part)Information

This preliminary work is only relevant for removing the heat shield (lower part).

1. Remove turbocharger. → 213019 Removing and installing turbocharger - section on "Removing"

Looking at the third diagram, it looks as if you can access the ignition coils without having to remove the turbo and thus the lower heat shield...at least I hope so...

I’ve had the upper heat shield off and the intake tube, seems impossible without removing that lower heat shield.

but I hope someone proves me wrong!
