991.2 Spark Plug Replacement Instructions.... FINALLY!
Yesterday I started looking at the degree of difficulty by removing the inner wheel well liner on the driver side. First, many thanks to the OP for obtaining the repair manual articles. After comparing the set of articles to the actual conditions found, my reaction was that this job is more difficult in the flesh than it seems from the manual's pictures. From this survey I've concluded that this is beyond what I want to get into. I'll probably have my dealer do it, but I plan to discuss it with them first. I want to see what they estimate and also try to assess how many to these they have done so far. My car is a 2018 base Carrera cab.

I agree, when I initially looked at it last year it was beyond what I wanted to do. Make sure to call several dealers in your area. I called three dealers and one Indy shop and it varied from $800-$1600!
I just got an estimate from my dealer (Silver Spring Porsche) and they said $850 all in. On that, I can get a 15% discount with service special coupon. I'm going to need some Kentucky medicine to swallow this, but swallow I must.
Awesome thanks for docs! I couldn't find this a few months ago ANYWHERE. Nonetheless, based on the location and disassembly required, this is something best done by dealer IMO. I think 800-900 price is the going rate...I did mine with 40k service for total of 1700 (other dealers charge 2500).
You're supposed to change them at 30k, but I'm going to be doing 40k (like the .1 gen).

Curious to know about anyone’s success DIYing the spark plugs on a 991.2 as many are just starting to turn 4 years old which is the recommended time interval (4y/40k). Also, if you’ve paid a dealer or indy, what has been the cost? Still debating if I’m going to take a stab at this.

Perhaps so which would indicate that there should be even more .2 owners who’ve had their spark plugs changed by this time. The oldest .2s are already into their 4th year of service. I get the feeling we’re going to start seeing more threads debating the recommended interval like we’re seeing right now about the brake fluid flush.
