Why post this? No one wants to know your business. Or lack of... for that matter. Next time tell the potential buyer the whole deal from the get go. And perhaps you would have earned a sale?

...just saying.

I believe the protunes are locked to the vin...so it would not work unless the tuner was willing to assign it to a new vin.

As the majority of your 5 posts have been to advertise your accessport for sale outside the marketplace, wisdom couldn't hurt.

I put another 50 miles on this evening and it seems the car has become much quicker and my passenger (aka wife) said the same as her head hit the headrest on several occasions (with more oomph than usual), which along with my seat of the pants feel, makes me more satisfied than I initially felt.

Anyone know where I can get an access port with a protune for someone else's VIN for cheap?

Has anyone driven a Cobb-tuned base 991.2 who also has experience with a stock S or GTS?

How would you describe the similarities and differences in intangibles like perceived throttle response and anticipation of acceleration between a tuned base and S and GTS?

unless the protuner is willing to change the vin assignment for you-I don’t think it would be happening.

On my c4s cab the stage 1 was a “nice” improvement using the butt dyno, however it just didn’t do it for me. Once I loaded the stage 2 map, the car came alive. Well worth the upgrade. This is with winter tires:

I will do another dyno in a few weeks to show the difference over the above (which should not be much power-wise, but most gain should be in torque).
You can calculate HP and TQ with...

HP = TQ * RPM / 5252
TQ = HP * 5252 / RPM

I think most dyno's read torque and calculate the horsepower from that.

Your assignment should you choose to accept it is to drive more hard miles. Then report back. More miles, Bob, more miles. Aggressive miles.

I accept the assignment as I have to go to Daytona tomorrow afternoon after a Dr. appointment, and I will report back as requested.

Sounds good. Seems like it pulls real nice. Happy for you since you like driving the car the way it should be.

I did not take the car today after all since it was so nice I pulled out the leather jacket and jeans and took the Harley; however, yes, the car pulls very strong in all gears except for 1st. I was really hoping for more from that gear but maybe my expectations were too high, or I need Stage 2.
