Dan,
We should totally try and replace the dashboards with leather stitching. doesn't look like its too hard, just time consuming. Might be a touch more difficult with windshield in place.

I probably wouldn't do it like this guy and cover all of the interior and take seats out in order not to damage anything
LOL I literally just posted this link in another thread.....My concern is introducing creaks and rattles after taking all that stuff out. But shouldn't be super hard, complete dashes are all over ebay.

I have PTSD from chasing rattles across my car, and did a large order of new plastic trim pieces and fastners from my dealer. 3 weeks and many hours later my car is dead quiet.

I'm out of service for the next few months, got a new interior hip modification! 🏥💊♿ 😷
I saw this video awhile back, and like you, thought it looked like it was pretty straight forward, just time consuming. Seats out is no problem, more room to move. Windshield out looks like the best way to not have rattles. I'll have to look at the "how it's made" 911 factory episode on my DVR to see if the glass is in when the factory slides in the dashboard. If it is, then no need to pull glass.
Even so, I've been looking for a deal on a dash but nothing on ebay is priced right with the correct airbag config.
Ouch get better soon.
I might change out my windshield next year. i have 2 small rock chips right in front of my eyes and its bugging me
If a nice dash come sup. i might as well. should be fun.
Wow...came across this thread so much inspiration and such amazing work!!
Quick question, did you have to code the 18-ways for your car? I hvae the 14-way non-sport seats and always liked the sport seats better. Also doe syour seat heating/ventilation work with the pepita fabric?
I added the Rennline floorboards on the passenger side and I really like how it turned out with my new interior
Curious as to how you mounted yours.
Did you just use the double sided tape that it came with or did you do something else?
I had mine stuck in, but it kept on coming off - didn't adhere to the carpet very well. I'm contemplating using self tapping screws to mount it, but I'm hesitant as I don't know what runs right underneath it.
I did the aluminum track mats both sides as well. Really makes footwork nice when driving. No getting hung up on carpet or floor mats.

Heating works, but I can see issues with ventilation. You shouldn't need to recode 14 way seats assuming the plugs/harness match up.
Dan, this is really helpful. I found this as I am upgrading my standard interior on my 13 C4S to full leather. One question on the door panels that I can't get find an answer to anywhere - do you know if there is anything specific about the door panel to make it compatible with Entry & Drive (or are all door panels compatible)? Same question on the seat memory, but the door panels I am looking at clearly have the open rectangle space for the Seat Memory buttons, so I think I am ok there. I found the perfect door panels, but don't wanna lose Entry & Drive functionality and the people selling cannot confirm. Really appreciate any help. Thanks!
