How much is the max speed you achieve during your track days?
I drove a stock 991.2 C2 GTS in Autobahn with 300+ kmh and i never felt any stability issues.
To be honest i am impressed everytime that speed goes more than 160 kmh how stable the car is.
The problem is my mind cannot afford this kind of speed and had to slow down.
I am affraid after you put the GT3 bumper your next step will be a GT rear Wing to balance the down force.

My car is pretty much a GT3 (Turbo) Touring now. So I won’t need a rear wing. But I will do the underbody aero. The OEM is only $600. But there is an improved carbon fibre version but it’s around $2,500 I think.
i would like to do GT2-RS Carbon intakes. I love those.
most tracks I only get to around 220, but there are some flat out turns in the 170 and flat to the floor. They are a little scarier than the 220 stuff.

Are you forgetting about a GT3 touring?

I am really enjoying your posts and mods. Am I correct in understanding you have not put in a proper racing seat complete with harness and a roll bar. With all the tracking you do , do you not wear a HANS device.? I would think that would be more important than the gorgeous GT3 front you are installing. Having said that I love what you are doing.
I may bolt the 4 point harness to the floor, instead of messing with my 18 way seat. I think I will eventually bite the bullet and get a Porsche LWBS. The one that folds . They are come in the GT3 Touring. But they are $15K each. Ouch!
I need a new helmet to run a HANS. Working on that as well. Only two track days left this season. So will have it all by next year.

I’m working on it. I have the harness bar in, that sits nicely behind the rear seats. You just lay them down to use. I had bought a Recaro race seat, but got dicked around so badly with trying to get it matches to my trim, I gave up and gave it to my son.

If you are going to all these great lengths to keep everything OEM, I don't see how you can't get these seats too. =)
Here's a couple pics of my install, with the same harness bar that you've got:

Great mod but I think you're missing a few details. First off, in regards to aero the GT3 touring wing has both an additional lip and increased angle of attack when fully deployed over the standard 911 models so there is more downforce at the rear of the GT3 touring to boanace the front end. Additionally, the GT3 suspension is lower and may have a different rake spec which was presumably part of the design and testing for the aero components. Even the GT3 center muffler is part of the underbody aero set-up and is designed to work with the diffuser. IOW, there's a lot to the GT3 as a package so you can't assume GT3 downforce specs apply to your car without really replicating the whole GT3 setup.
Similarly, the engine cover on the GT3rs is designed for cooling not intake (intake comes from the sides) and was designed to work with the big wing. It's the same reason the GT3 touring and winged GT3 intakes (internal and external) are totally different. The 991.2 non gt3 engine covers were specifically designed to increase flow to the intercoolers and that's why no ducktail was ever made for the 991.2 gen cars which is all a long winded way of saying that swapping engine covers is not a trivial thing. I have no clue what a GT2rs engine cover would do on a normal 991.2 but I would do a little research or go into that mod cautiously.
The GT3 front end looks great on the GTS so I don't mean any offense, I just think rather than dismissing the GT3 as not a thing and assuming a 911 is a 911, you might consider really digging into the details of the thought behind the GT3 and how these kinds of modifications are part of a complete (and costly) system rather than individual swappable parts to get the full functional benefit and what the real costs will be.

BTW, the thread you referenced was from 2014, the article in the thread is even older. All those numbers are 997 except the first 3 being 991.1s.

My car is as low as a GT3. The side of a GTS is identical to a GT3. In fact 90% of the car is identical to a GT3. I have Vektor Headers, Akropvic cats, Akrapovic carbon rear diffuser. IPD plenum, BMC filter. COBB Custom tune, running 50/50 E85. Whilst I am over 600Hp at the engine / 500Hp at the wheels, I absolutely destroy a GT3 in a straight line. I even roll raced a GT2-RS and I won 5 from 5. My car kicks hard. I went from Cup2 that I split, to TrofeoR that I loved and now run AR-1's which are great on the track but I dislike for street. I most likely will get some BBS FI-R for street and track the OEM wheels. Or vice versa.
If MoTeC would hurry up and do the programing for 991.2 I will replace the ECU. Then add a pair of Garret G25-550 turbos and top off with the Akrapovic ehaust. That should put down 700Hp at the wheels running full E85.
I do not want a GT3. They are very, very slow. But I do appreciate the work that went into them.

Yeah, those seats are awesome. I have all the red stitching and alcantara in my car. So I want your seats, but with the alcantara and red stitching so it matches my car. (Changes are good that's what i will get.)
I can assure you I have studied and ripped apart a GT3. I have superior suspension (Full Tractive) I have superior brakes Brembo GTS 380 fronta nd rear with Endless pads. I have Elephant racing adjustable bars and sphreical bearing everything. I will have the GT2-RS front carbon fibre anti sway bar shortly.

I may end up with a big rear wing. I am still undecided. I always loved the look of de-winged GT2-RS. So I was thinking doing that, and unbolting the big wing fro street, and just running the big wing on track. Once I have track wheels and have to wrench that, then a few extra bolts to do the wing is nothing. Maybe Techart may have something or a cup car wing. I don't know yet. I will do something.

Well, the OEM GT3 A/C lines have finally arrived. After many delays. Just waiting for them to fit me in, and it will all be bolted on. Finally.
