There were originally two options. One for android headunits, and one for cars with existing carplay (Audi, Volvo, Benz, Porsche). The latter was more expensive, I paid $129.25. I also mistakenly ordered the android version at first, but then cancelled and reordered.
I ordered on 9/25, seller contacted me to confirm vehicle via email on 9/26, and apparently it shipped on 9/28. I have a tracking # via EUB, but like others I can't actually track it.
Well, the charger and my new Evutec case arrived and I am very pleased with the result. The Evotuc case has a built in panel so that you can attach it to a magnetic mount--I had one on my 7 that I really loved. Evutec said it still would work with an inductive charger and so it does. This is ø1: charger in cubby for wireless charge while driving. I plan to add some velcro to keep the charger centered and some foam to keep the phone on the charger. ø2 is the USB splitter to allow charging and CarPlay, although the charging will be redundant. ø3 is the wireless CarPlay dongle. Total investment so far is $45, it was a $200 option in my wife's GLC300.
Should work well if you can keep the phone in place.
I found this charger on Amazon. Fits perfectly in the center console and keeps the phone from moving around. It’s just slightly larger than my iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Totally transparent. It takes a minute to boot up and then connects automatically. It’s great.
Could you just clarify what you meant by a minute to boot up? Once installed, does it do this all the time? Or once you install it and enter the car after that, does Carplay work as quickly as usual (ie as if you were plugged in through USB)?
Whoa! That one is better than the one I found. I was going to order another because I want to use the one I have next to the bed. Problems solved, thanks!

It starts connecting as soon as you unlock the car. Usually by the time I'm in the drivers seat and start the car it's already good to go. After an iOS upgrade or a phone swap it takes a little longer as I'm sure it's doing some initial set up.
Just bought two of these for my '17 Carrera S and '17 Macan, does not work. I followed the Amazon link, which I think changed since the OP posted it. I paid 79/each for them, and did get the only version available which was the Android version that requires and APK download and then upload to the PCM 3.1, which doesn't seem to work (PCM does not see USB flash drive). The dongle does not show up as a discoverable Bluetooth device. Working on this and will update once I get it working!
