Too expensive to repair I assume. $150k is the max. stated value and just for the hell of it I used that value and it was about $2k a year with very high deductibles.
I hadn't really thought about it until this thread, but mine is similar to the Targa 4 GTS launch(?) car....Carmine + PCCBs + LEDs, but missing a pedal...
My new 991 arrived late last night! Unfortunately, it was dark and raining when it arrived. But I was able to get it out today and enjoy it. It's a beautiful thing. Sounds great, looks great, drives great. Unfortunately, I had driven it about 60 miles when I got a Cooling system fault. Dang. Oh well, I'm hoping it's nothing terrible.
I’ve been reading about bad changeover valves and loose vacuum tubes. Wonder if this stuff could be related to it being moved from Florida to Colorado. Lots of things get pressurized with the move into altitude. Just speculating. Dropped off at dealer.
Thankfully, it turned out to be something minor. Just a loose vacuum tube. And I went ahead and had them install the clear side indicators. Manage to escape from the dealer for less than $130!
Dang it. The same alert has returned. It may be my imagination, but I think it happened both times when I set the temperature to (mild) heating. Does that make any sense?
