Have you ever seen PPF damaged after being treated with ceramic coatings? I have. FYI PPF is not designed to be covered with silica limiting its capacity to breathe.

Can you please explain how nano doesn’t allow the urethane to “breathe”?

Also isn't silica just one ingredient of nano?

I think you have had a few too many of your avatar. And if anyone needs to breathe it is you.

You seem to know more about PPF than me. Enjoy your unnecessary ceramic coating over your PPF.

Yes, I do, and I enjoy it every time I clean my car in a very short period of time with very little effort...you must be a big fan of the Karate Kid movie.

My installer, Extreme Colors in Greenville, SC (does all of the BMW Performance Center cars) said he uses Goo Gone. I tried it on the bugs and sap and it worked to the degree that you could only see the remains at a certain angle in the right light. After a second application it was completely gone and the PPF and Ceramic Pro look perfect.
