24.2 mpg on my first tank - driving too gently???
As the title says I got 24.2mpg overall on my first tank with my 2013 C2, which is my daily driver. Pretty impressive for such a quick car. This number I calculated based on miles driven and fuel used, the computer was showing 25.7mpg. I’ve been trying to enjoy it, pushing it on curves and enjoying the sounds to redline, but in most regular traffic it’s hard to use it properly and retain the driving license! In my previous car, a Merc C400, if I nailed the throttle to get past traffic in certain situations I’d look down and see maybe 80-82 on the Speedo, in this car it’s on 95 very quickly.

Pretty sure I haven’t seen 22 MPG in the 6700 miles I’ve driven so far in my GTS. One of these days, just out of curiosity, I will have to see how well I can do over the course of a week.

I averaged 29+MPG on the highway legs of a trip I'm currently doing. It's not uncommon to hit 20-25MPG while driving at home, no stop and go driving so that helps.
It's a C4S so it has a bit of push, the MT may help.

I normally average about 20. If I am having fun, I get 14 to 15. A few times on the freeway I tried driving as conservatively as I possibly could, and was able to average 32 on a 100 mile trip, 75 mph average.

Best is 31 or 32 MPG.. Actually trying to get it as high as possible without cheating (downhills, cherry picking when to reset...etc). I truly average around 17/20.
30mpg is easily possible if you aim for it.

I just calculated my last tank's average and it was 17.2 mpg compared to 17.7 on the car....I was surprised it was that high.

I have owned a 2013 991 C2 with PDK and a 2015 991 GTS. with MT back-to-back. The 2013 got 24/33 MPG city/highway. It had a 3.6 l engine as I remember with 350 HP. The 2015 GTS gets 22/30 MPG city/highway. It has a 3.8 l engine with 430 HP among many other things. Please do not compare apples to oranges.

Base 991.2 here; I got 31.7 (actual miles / actual gallons) on the way down from NYC to Tampa after we collected the car in early June.
Since then, commuting one way about 12 miles, plus weekends etc., and driving almost all the time in Sport, I am averaging 23.5 (again, actual numbers.) My wife says I drive like a grampa, which is probably accurate lol.

24.2 seems pretty good! I reset the counter every 2-3K miles and the average is 17.2 MPG + / - a couple of decimal points every time. Daily driver with average speed ~30 - 35 mph, driven in sport mode mostly. 2018 911 T, Manual.

Do you ever step on it? I know stop & go driving drops MPG but that seems pretty low with an average speed in the mid 30s.
