Default Anyone with Elephant Racing coilover conversion ?

Curious what people’s experience is.
Especially long term and for a SPASM car that’s also tracked.

Thanks!

I got them actually ! it’s been great so far, I’m actually at Thunderhill tracking the car now!
I have a DSC Sport and was able to get a stiffer calibration from TPC.

Great. Why did you get them?
Because you can get stiffer springs ?
did you adjust ride height and how much?

how was installation?

Awesome! Got any pics of your stance? I have H&R springs currently but would love to have the adjustability of a coil to go a hair lower. Can't make up my mind wether to go this route or full coilover setup.

Really looking forward to hearing your thought on how they are on the track! The 991 feels just a bit under sprung for me as it sits on stock PASM.

Not sure what full coils you are thinking about, but if you have PDCC and want to retain PASM the Bilstein B16 are limited in height adjustment in the front by the PDCC brackets. You won't be able to go lower than the H&R in the front. No PDCC you are good to go.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a 2013 4S with PASM but no PDCC. I actually was on the fence between bilstein, ohlins (lose PASM) or the elephant conversion. I’m not trying to super slam the thing. I’m happy with the front I just think the rear sits a 1/4” to high compared to the front with the H&R at times.

Agreed. I just bought a set of used Bilstein for that reason. A 991 GT3 I measured was 27.25" floor to fender front and rear. My goal on install is front and rear, maybe .25" lower. I think H&R put front at 27" front? Can you take a measurement?

The KW conversion kit looks nice too.

This is my front with less than 1/4 tank of gas. It will sit an 1/8" or so lower with full tank:

And here's the rear:
