No it does not affect warranty. It is a catalytic converter and cannot cause any adverse issues with the car. It is the last pipe before the muffler so it does very little other than flow more freely and make exhaust louder.

First impressions on sound is it's certainly louder but not different, and the turbo spool comes through a bit, but I've only had a couple of days. I won't feel the added power but good to know it does have it. My wife drove home behind me and it's apparently much more noticeable than in the cockpit. She approves, and if it didn't sound much better then she certainly would not.

People can do whatever makes them happy, but I'll throw in my 2 cents:
- Aftermarket exhausts drone despite claims they don't
- Aftermarket high flow cats don't last as long as OEM and there are no significant performance benefits
- Aftermarket cats aren't recommended for high miles and not warranted for track usage
- Removing cats is illegal and a overall ****ty/inconsiderate thing to do
- Just because an aftermarket system sounds good outside, doesn't mean it sounds good inside too
- Ads for aftermarket system often show them sounds good revving high and in echo chambers, but not necessarily normal driving
- Often focused on 'bass' and lower pitched tunes (no character sounds/ high pitched)... raspiness is gone in favor of Tuba
- Aftermarket exhaust don't make cars sound very Porsche-like
- Really loud exhausts is frowned upon in public... only person who thinks its cool is you
- No one wants your used car with aftermarket loud exhaust unless you sell private
- Light weight and stainless steel claims are aggregated (or really thin metal is used that rusts)
- Fitment normally not the best (bent pipes not lining up, tips not same length etc etc)
- Costs could be better spent on buying more fuel while revving out OEM system
- The exaggerated turbo hiss/whistle sounds bad
- Drone deserves an additional mention
My recommendation is get PSE retrofit if you want more than stock. Made and designed for the car. Performs and sounds like it should. Best balance of noise and usability. Kinda crazy to buy a 100k car to then want an aftermarket exhaust on it... any normal personal will question your sanity 'its a porch and already has a nice exhaust"...of course people always seem to want more...

Especially the part of removing cats as firstly it is bad for environment and secondly the car sounds like an cheap "Acura 1990's rice boy"!
