Cobb Pro Tune for 991.2.. Its ready
#182
Props to Cobb for getting stage 2 out the second week of Jan as promised and looks like pro tune will be on time in another two weeks.
Also, a follow up to my situation.. Cobb went into my pro tune and essentially removed all of the PDK tuning. I will be doing runs in the morning and sending them back for review.
How's that for fast turnaround and customer service? A+ Cobb

My pro tune is what's causing the shifting problems, not the PDK tune. I did some more runs this morning and same results so its the tune that the car is interpreting and shifting based on what it is reading.
I think the tune needs the tweak, not the PDK. Also, how many of you are able to spin the wheels with Traction off? I can't spin the wheels in any mode, at any speed in any gear. This leads me to believe there is some torque/hp not making its way to the tires. A 550-600hp car even with AWD should be able to smoke the tires or at least get a little chirp

Follow up on my situation:
Somewhat good news.. My car is putting down a great deal more HP and Torque than was expected. As a result the car's PDK clutch is slipping which causes traction control to engage then slipping again. The solution is to get the PDK reset. Apparently, Porsche has a program called P something that allows the clutch to adapt to what the engine is producing. If its producing more HP and Torque then this program will allow the PDK to essentially tune itself. This is not a PDK tune, it will be factory PDK but this program will allow the clutch to adapt to what the tune is putting out. Its call PDK clutch adaptation. Hopefully getting it done before the weekend, it takes about 20 minutes. Stay tuned
