Default 991.2 GTS production and discount

Hello everyone,

How much longer will 991.2 GTS be in production? Any chance that I can get discount?

Thank you.

About a month ago, there were roughly 12 GTS allocations nationwide (or so I was told by several dealers). I believe a couple dealers also expected some more allocations in sometime in December. Not sure about availability after that. From my shopping around, I think you should be able to get 4-5 percent off without much fuss, if you're willing to order from a non-local dealer. Maybe more since some people will wait to get what will be a higher-powered 992 GTS in 2020.

Thank you. I thought 992 GTS wont be released until 2021/2022 (end of 992 Mk1)

dealer was was only coming down a couple of thousand.

Don’t know about allocations but 6% or more off should be doable. As noted, you might have to go out of state.

6% off on a GTS? Here we go again...

Not gonna happen. Now that the 992 has been released with lackluster support, my Dealer tells me he has gotten MORE orders to buy 991.2's.
If you want a Targa GTS you can change the not to never.

Same here - visited dealer today to get my car status at the port. SA wasnt a fan of many of the 992 stylings and told me they had many calls since the reveal about 991.2 orders. They didnt have anything to give. Great sold stuff on the floor waiting for delivery though. Silver Touring, Lizard GT3RS, Silver GT2RS.

Remember that is what I got on my 2019 Targa GTS but I doubt anyone can do that well again; however, I can probably refer someone for a nice GTS order discount if you act fast since allocations are almost gone...PM me for info.

And I can back that up if someone has doubts but like I also said, times have changed and it would be almost impossible to get that kind of a discount now.

Honestly you should be able to get some discount on the car. I got 5% off of mine when I ordered beginning of this year.

the dealer will always tell you things that get them the highest prices. Of course they r not gonna say something like oh man everyone’s waiting and ordering 992s here are a bunch of .2 cars for steep discounts!

Received 7% off including euro delivery (which is an additional $3000 cost to the dealer). It really boils down to your relationship with the dealer.

Not sure everyone is going to order 992. It seemed like they released a half-finished car.
