Can you validate please your source? As I know at least in EU 991.2 production will finish next month. If you go to a dealer to order a 991.2 GTS they will not be able to provide and they will start convince you that 992 is the future to order.

My SA just received one 991.2 Targa GTS allocation with an April build date, and one of us here just got it. And he did not hear anything about continuing production.

No one has been able to confirm that 991.2 production through summer and longer for others so take that with a grain of salt, and if you are interested in a T you should not wait.

Bingo! I can get 11% off a new Carrera car order anytime I wish. However, it all depends on who you are friends with at the dealership😏

11% off any time you wish? That is incredible. At that discount I’d have to seriously think about picking up another 991 before production closes.

I am actually waiting for a 992 but will probably wait until the second year of production since I haven’t had my 17 very long and still really enjoy it.

Not at all, Porsche is the most profitable car company; however, if dealers routinely gave 11% they would all have to start doing so. 10% or more on a lot car is common but not ordering. With that said, if a close family member owned the dealer I would expect to get more than 11%. You did not mention that in your post so by not doing so you are only giving others a false sense in respect to what they should expect.

Bob....my Uncle doesn’t own a Porsche dealership, but my close friend does. I hesitated putting that percentage out there for the very reason of your post. Believe me, I am fully aware a 5-6 percent discount is considered good. I realize I am very fortunate and don’t take it for granted. If it makes you feel better to call BS.....then by all means do.
