Carrera T - Gaurds Red or Black and Rear Axle Steering - Can’t decide
Help! I’ve had a number of Porsches in a number of colors. I am leaning to Gaurds Red Carrera T with black glass sunroof (no rear axle steering) but wifey thinks Red is too flashy. Dealer has a black one as well WITH rear axle steering. First question Gaurds Red vs Black? Second question is Rear Axle Steering a must have on the Carrera T? I know this is a personal decision but I am on the fence and can’t decide...

A must have on the T is no sunroof.

Red, of course, you're driving a Porsche. You're way past the flashy stage of conversation plus black is a bitch to take care of.
No sunroof on T
RAS nice, but not really a big deal. You'll like it if you track car IMO.
Good luck and no matter what you'll love it.

Red because it won't matter what color, the car will get attention anyway. Black will always be dirty, except for the first 30 minutes after washing. I agree with the no sunroof and I have one. It goes against what the T stands for and the sunroof on these cars is not that great. Definitely, definitely, definitely get the rear steering if it's within your means. It's a decent step up in handling performance. If I could only get 1 option, this would be it. I have it and love it

Guards Red and RAS here. V200 on 10/29, no idea the status now.
You have to go with what you want. White, always a good choice, was where I started but my S2000 and M3 were both white...then silver, thanks to pictures here...then black, because when it's clean it's awesome...but then I just went GR.
Good luck!

I went basic metal sunroof and RAS.
Truthfully, most of us need to lose weight for any benefit of weight savings in the T. Go for a few runs...makes up for sunroof weight!

Car looks great in both colors I stay away from black as you really need to keep clean all the time.
RAS is something you will regret not having.
on sunroof check my sunroof poll.

I had a Guards Red 4S and loved it. Black is a full time job to keep looking great and there are a lot of Black Pcars. If you choose the Guards Red you will not regret it. Very few must have things but RWS is a great add. Have it on my TTS and can't really tell but handling is spot on. Is that RWS ? Maybe. Even more important on a rear wheel drive I would think.
Here is a pic of my old 4S.

Sunroof for sure...what difference does it make if it is a T or standard Coupe - if you like to get some fresh air why not?! And Guards Red over Black any day of the week. My last 3 Porsches were Guards Red so I went with Miami Blue this time, but I debated getting Guards Red again.

I would hate black it’s hot and a bitch to keep clean. From what I’ve read ras is a great option. Sunroof adds weight and is something else to break.
Imho Miami blue is the color to get. My Mb 911 really pops and I get complements almost daily.

Rear axle steering. For me its a must have, and one of the few options I ordered
