Default Numbers...

As we draw down to the last 991 911s coming out of the mighty Z, I did some compiling. This is .1 and .2 totals and provided in the order I found them presented (not in any order of merit or demerit). All this info is publicly accessible and comes from things I have gleaned off of RL. Sorry WW folks, as this is PCNA and PCL (Canada) info only. If I ever get the WW stats, I'll post up or welcome someone else doing so. I make no claims for its accuracy, nor my own onesy and twosy errors from hand jamming some numbers (I had to take some "bleed over" in 2012 or 2013 997 builds as they began to encroach into 2013 991 production as the same names were used...). This said, I think it is pretty accurate and based on bonafide info. Bottom line: when a 991 car gets a VIN and a build sheet, I had access to its info... So, without more carrying on:

As of 1 November 2018 and since 2013 (except as noted below):

911 50th Anniversary Edition (2014) - 643
911 Carrera - 7,496
911 Carrera 4 - 849
911 Carrera BE (2016) - 66 + 276 = 342
911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet - 679
911 Carrera 4 GTS - 751
911 Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet - 333
911 Carrera 4S - 5,278
911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet - 3,993
911 Carrera Cabriolet - 4,203 + 1073 (2012 builds) = 5,276
911 Carrera Cabriolet BE (2016) - 178
911 Carrera GTS - 2,326
911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet - 960
911 Carrera S - 5,547
911 Carrera S Cabriolet - 4,623 + 1891 (2012 builds) = 6,514
911 Carrera T - 620
911 GT2 RS - 655
911 GT3 - 4,542
911 GT3 RS - 2,183
911 R (2016) - 213
911 Targa 4 - 497
911 Targa 4 GTS - 1,345
911 Targa 4S - 2,892
911 Turbo - 1,966 (accounts for 16 997 built in 2013)
911 Turbo Cabriolet - 1,127 (accounts for 33 997 built in 2013)
911 Turbo S - 4,426 (accounts for 125 997 built in 2013)
911 Turbo S Cabriolet - 2,215 (accounts for 87 997 built in 2013)
911 Turbo S Exclusive - 118

were produced for 'murican (and yes, I include you, Canada, in that... ) consumption. Some other interesting numbers, to me at least... And please note, I have purposefully NOT used the "r" word in this post... 107 997 Speedsters were brought to us. 155 918 Spyder and 174 Spyder WP were brought over. When Porsche has used the Limited Edition moniker, such as with the Boxster and Boxster S from 2008, 249 each for a total of 498 graced us with their presence. And very, very interesting to me personally, 624 Cayman R and 676 Carrera GT made it to our shores...

991 production has a few months to go, so these are definitely not final. But it gives an interesting snap shot of where things have been and where things are headed for our cars. Enjoy, friends...

Excellent recap that syncs well with what I have been informally tracking.......surprised more Turbo S than Turbo and the overall high number in general...........

Porsche made a ton of money on the "rare" GT3 cars.......

The Carrera T potentially could be quite a collectible just like the 964 RS America (701 units)......the economical 911.......GT2RS pretty rare rides......

Targa 4 GTS is a sweet ride to have and hold........along with Carrera 4 GTS Coupe and Cabs......and the all wheel drive cars Targa 4 and Carrera 4 for that matter........lots of 4Ss........

More C2S cabs than C2S's. Surprising to me.

I was also surprised with Turbo and Turbo S numbers as the .2s were supposed to be reduced from 2017 on? Breakdown of .1s and .2s would be appreciated if OP has the time.............we love this stuff)
