A cruise with some friends on Friday morning... to Bartlett Lake, east of Cave Creek AZ. (BTW, loved driving thru the lake district several years ago, and actually got used to driving on the "wrong" side of the road! And shifting with your left hand!)

Not T exclusive pics, but I thought I’d share here.
The Everyday Driver car journalists have an annual meetup in Utah. Fans arrive by car and plane and drive some of the best roads in the USA, with some of the best vistas anywhere on the planet.
A few of us started in Boulder and made the trip to Park City through some of Colorado and Utah’s best roads. We picked up friends along the way: and LS-swapped 944, a Grand Sport Corvette that did 22 hours straight from Mississippi, etc. It could not have been more fun.
I let a dozen people drive the T and it was a hit. It was so much fun to share the specialness of this car with others.
That blue BMW E46 ZHP is mine as well.

Great pictures everyone, keep them coming! Two weeks tomorrow with my T. Is it the "perfect spec"? Nope......but it suits my needs to a "T". The standard 4-way seats are more than capable of holding me in place and I like having access to the back shelf (and folding seats) as I bring my 3-month old JRT pup on drives and prefer having her crate in the back. PDK? Yes I would have preferred a stick but this is an AMAZING transmission in its own right and it has become routine procedure to put the car in Sport + and transmission in Manual mode when starting every trip. Even in "basic" tune, this thing is a riot with lots of lower RPM grunt the older cars could only dream about. Having owned 911s since 2006, I'm VERY satisfied with this car, even if I am still in the "honeymoon" phase.

The 992 GTS I've ordered? Hmmmmmm.......

Beautiful shot! Your sentiments on PDK are similar to mine. ALL my previous 911 experiences were generated in manual transmission cars. PDK has always intrigued me due to it NOT being anything close to a traditional torque converter automatic. My T is SUPPOSED TO BE an "interim car" while I wait for the 992 GTS manual I ordered in May. My opinions on both the T as a model within the 911 range and the PDK transmission have drastically changed during my initial month of ownership. The T is indeed more than the sum of its parts and I don't for one minute believe one transmission or the other is "mandatory" to make the car what it is. Mine has PDK, the standard 4-way seats, rear seats, Bose, side decal delete, and not much else. Would i have initially ordered this spec myself? Not likely. But in all honesty, it is SERIOUSLY making me reconsider just what I want in my perfect 911. The buckets are sexy as hell and a solid 10 on the cool factor but would make access to the back seats (more specifically the seats when folded flat) much more difficult to reach.

If the 992 T I have my name down on ever comes I seriously think it will be PDK with comfy seats despite knowing it’s the ‘wrong’ spec.
