I’d like to get a new defender 110 but keep reading about Land Rover quality issues.
I can't speak for the new Defender, but my Disco has been trouble free. My LR4 and Rover full size were trouble free as well, just scheduled maintenance only. My 04 Disco ended up needing a new engine at 90k so that was less than ideal.
New Defender is what I've had my eyes on too, but with the lack of new cars right now I'm planning on buying out the lease on the Disco and keeping it until things settle down.

Yah, them’s the classic two-tone OEM colors.
They look great, but I wish I had the T’s blacker optics (‘coz that’s my thing) and I like the uniqueness with the T trim. I’d be willing to swap - let’s meet in the mid-pacific!

Maybe its the snow, maybe its the red stitching that’s making me jealous......we get no snow and i have the yellow stitching!
I’m really liking them and they look great on your car. I think I will order next week when I get back from holidays.
We can do a winter / summer swap one year, come over and enjoy the 90 degree days!

I love them! I would say this is a huge and necessary upgrade if you are going to go anywhere near a track. On my last PCA track day, even all the GT3 RS’s had upgraded to AP J hooks.
(I posted the link a few posts up to the post a few pages back on the switch over. Hands down switching pads without removing the calipers is the #1 reason for going this way.)
- diy install was straight forward.
- quality is top notch
- performance is fantastic
- aesthetically, they are a marked improvement when you have the S wheels. (due to the brakes being so visible)
better late than never. got my winter wheels/tires on
