You can get a good finish on the standard lip-I had my standard (non primed aka black plastic lip) prepped and painted and it looks just as good as the other painted parts. Did the rear as well and you cant tell a difference. Best to go with what your shop recommends-my shop worked with what I had.

I found a 3/4 pic of your car when I googled painted lip on T, but do you have any other pics from different angles? Seriously considering doing this... Thanks.

Yes, that's right, they said that's the same color as the wheels for Audi S7, those 21' 5 spoke wheels. Maybe the color is not the same on plastic as on metal.

Its the standard not primed lip, I couldn't go with something else since the insurance paid for it and they order only exactly what the VIN code says.

It was sanded very smooth, primed and then painted. If you don't paint it, you cannot even wrap it, because the film will not stick to the plastic.

The protection film makes it very shiny, the whole front is shining from the PPF, even if racing yellow is not a metallic paint.

Looks great! I've been considering this too. As for the gray shade, just say that you matched the gray surrounding the headlights

I would go crazy if there was a TE37's fitment that was available!

I would definitely consider a 19" TE37 wheel (or CE28) if available, purists be damned.

Apologies for the awful picture but it'll have to do until the snow melts.

Car was delivered Sunday. Now the wait for warmer weather begins.
