Thanks-the gts is widebody but only about 1/2 inch wider per side. It bolts up for the most part and the only issue is where the edge of the bumper meets up with the 1/4 panel (fitment is 7/10 there). The spoiler is a molded in 991.1 Vorstiener rep.

Thanks, that's good to know! So despite what some threads say, a 991.1 lip actually fits onto a 991.2? How much work was needed. Sorry for the noob questions!
They are correct-the 991.1 spoiler lip does not fit flush on the 991.2-there is about a 1/2 inch gap in the middle. It didnt bother me as I planned to mold it anyway. To keep the thread on track-here is a link to my thread on it: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1150...r-spoiler.html
I thought about that as well-could look good dependent on if the rear diffuser panel was painted to match. I have not seen one in person-I ended up painting mine to match body color (front lip). I did the rear as well but didnt like how it looked so I went back to satin black.
I will replace mine next week and I want to paint it agate gray, the car is racing yellow. I want to keep the middle part black, unpainted. Other option is to paint that middle part in yellow. The pictures in this thread are all with lip painted in matching color, unfortunately.
I think it will look good-IMO I would paint the entire thing gray and not leave the lower piece. If you decide you wanted to do it in black you can easily plasti-dip over it in the middle and it will be just like the OEM finish and be easily removed if you change your mind later.
Here is mine after painting body color-also you can paint the stock black plastics. Don’t have to buy the smooth/paintable ones from Porsche. Just have to sand smooth and prep correctly.
Cut vents and painted body color-didn’t like it so went back to black After going back to black (used plastidip)
Yes, it will be the original stock lip, will be replaced by the car insurance at no cost. I will pay to get it painted after a smooth sanding.
I was thinking to get the whole lip painted agate gray. Then I will get it wrapped with paint protection film, I also have ppf on the whole front. I will ask the guys who will apply the ppl to try some yellow and black wrap on the center, to see how it looks.
That should work out well-I PPF'd mine as well. IMO its a must as it will chip easily. Please post pics when done-should look awesome! Are you going to do the rear diffuser in gray as well?
i think the painted standard lip looks atrocious. i don't even like the painted lip on the sport design, which i have, and you can't buy or replace unpainted. but the standard bumper lip just looks wrong.
