Eek. Too much. It was the most perfect spec and got a great trade value on my GT350R, so I’m looking at the bright side.

Gotcha. If you got it for under 100k then I think it’s a deal. Even a couple grand over isn’t too bad if it’s really what you want.

Is there anyone having the lip painted gray?

Or just with the upper side of the lip painted, and the down side black or body color.

I am quoting myself because I started this.I changed the damaged lip with a painted one that I wanted to be agate gray like the rest on the car. Unfortunately the guy that painted it probably was color blind, that's not agate gray, its not as dark as it should be. Since in my town there is no Porsche dealer, I went to the VW-Audi dealer thinking that they must know the color. Not satisfied at all.

The middle is black, the guy who wrapped it in protection film didnt have any kind of yellow wrap, just satin black.

Even with the paint not being an exact match, I really like this. My Miami Blue T could benefit from a bit of splitter bling. Maybe a double layer of PPF to mitigate chips.

Good on you for giving your gal a new necklace! Nice... For anyone interested in this, the color code is D7Z/A7... It's more widely known as Titanium Metallic throughout the VW group if you are dealing with folks who don't speak Agate...

Looks really good! Might do this myself... did you go with just the standard sport lip or did you order it with primer/ready to paint? Suncoast wants another $300 for that...

I'm curious to know which one you bought as well. Primed and prep'd or standard black plastic?

I spoke with a shop and the consensus seems to be that the primed parts as received by the shop turn out better than ones they have to do. We'll see! I bit on the primed version just now.
